Washington Becomes 11th State to Close Ethics Investigation with No Finding of Wrongdoing

Earlier this month, Senior Disciplinary Counsel for the Washington State Bar Association issued an 7-page letter detailing its analysis of the ethics complaints filed nearly a year ago against 13 Washington lawyers who advertise with Total Attorneys. In dismissing the complaint, Disciplinary Counsel clearly stated that Total Attorneys was not holding itself out as a referral service, nor did it fit the Washington definition of "referral service".
