Update
I just got off the phone with Blake as he happened to be at the Total Impact House with the girls. They were in the process of making dinner – posho and beans. The girls were extremely excited to tell me about what they’ve been up to. Joyce has been learning English and sang for me the ABC’s! I gave them an “assignment”. They were to write out, in paragraph form, the best thing that has happened to them this week and then the not-so-best thing that’s happened to them this week. Blake will be emailing me their responses today or tomorrow so I can post them. I told them I’d send them your answers to the same questions. So you know what that means! They’d be thrilled to hear from you.
Blake reported three or four more girls will be moving into the house in the next week or two. It’s a mountain of paperwork for each girl and somewhat of a wild goose chase getting it all authorized. Imagine trying to do your job without email and sometimes not even a phone. It’s an enormous exercise in patience, but we are persistent!
I will post their answers to the questions as soon as I receive them. Please participate…it will bring huge smiles to their faces!
